Another
compettion entry - this time one that I didn't submit on time! The song
is one of my favourites by Annie Lila Berge Strand (to give Annie her
Sunday name), and it's a shame that I didn't enter it in time, but I
didn't find the competition until there wasn't much time left for the
remixing to happen. The bassline borrows from the original version but the song sounds like the original on steriods. I'm really happy with how this mix turned out.

new remix for the festive season. (Yes I'm aware that the song Russian
Roulette has nothing to do with Christmas, but never mind!)It's the new Rihanna single. Personally I like the tune and the interesting instrumentation of the original, but frankly, it wasn't booty-shaking enough!
This remix hopes to remedy that problem!

Mariah - Touch My Body

Another
mate of mine is a bit of a Mariah fan, so I used my newly-found vocal
extraction technique to create the acapella for Touch My Body, and then
created this lovely remix. Not in a dance vein this time, because I
felt the vocal would be too warped, but sped-up to be a little more
booty-shaking than the original. I used ProTools as usual (and Adobe

This Morning Call - Deserted
My mate Ben is a band/recording artist, and back in the heady days of 2007 I believe, I begged him for the stems of my favourite of his songs so I could try my hand at remixing it. software emulation of the Roland SH-101 Bassline synth - Very sexy!
Miles Away was the last single release by Madonna on Maverick records, and for this reason it's become a bit of a shite affair, with only a live video and no physical copies available. Anywhere.

Busta Rhymes ft Linkin Park

I've managed to transform this song into an electro/techno affair,
which surprisingly suits the vocals very well, or perhaps
unsurprisingly considering the current vogue for rappers on dance
tracks at the moment (eg. Wearing My Rolex, DJ Dada's Lollipop,
anything with Luciana or Princess Superstar in).
A
completely new style for me, originally produced under the pseudonym DJ
SemiAutomatic. Please let me know what you think of the results, be
they good, bad or indifferent if any of you are out there listening
away to this.
